Mrs. Simms, Herbert and the entire Simms family. Sadly, I just learned of Doc’s passing today. Doc and I worked together at SC Commission for the Blind and I always enjoyed his company. He was such a real person with kind words for everyone he met. He was always willing to help in any way that he could. R.I.P

To Sims family: May God continue to bless your family during your bereavement and beyond. Doc and I pledged Sigma in 1978 at USC. We reconnected in 2010 after my retirement and relocation back to Columbia. I already miss my good friend Doc. May he RIP.
