Just got back from our first Alaska cruise and our first cruise on Royal Caribbean in a long time. I was pleasantly surprised by RC. We switched to Celebrity a while ago, but our adult children love RC so, since we were traveling with them, we chose RC. The ship was lovely, good flow and large public spaces so it didn't feel as big as it was. The room was spacious, recently updated and very

Quantum of the seas is a ship with lots of activities for all ages. The Seaplex has bumper cars, pickleball(too busy and not enough free play), climbing wall , flow rider, etc. It has a capacity of 4905 passengers and yet the ship had so many options it did not feel crowded except at Sitka due to the need for shuttles to get off by number. Get in line early to get shuttle tickets if you are not

Very relaxing cruise. Loved to live shows in the theatre. The food was amazing and the times they offered breakfast, lunch and supper were excellent. The crew was very friendly with the exception of a couple of bartenders. Boarding and exiting the ship was very quick with no wait times. I’d like to go on a bigger ship next time with 5000+ passengers because the bigger the ship the

Gorgeous ship - lots of windows for the innumerable stunning views. - prettier than any other at any of the ports. Navigated narrow fjords, and took us right up to a glacier!! Full modern makeover and lovely inside and out. Outstanding staff who were uber friendly and kind, knowledgeable and informative. "Washy washy, happy happy!" They were great and only helpful.Food was amazing;

Older, but nice ship. Very dirty windows, never cleaned. Terrible for Alaska trip! MDR good, Windjammer not good. Park cafe excellent and very nice for early morning coffee. Gluten free options extremely limited, hard to find. Never labeled. Staff were helpful, but still terrible for an 8 year old! Ultra spacious ocean view cabin nice, guiet, but no outlets by bed. Only 1 US

Had an awesome time on the Quantum of the Seas in Alaska and Canada! This was my first time cruising in a non-tropical destination, and I don't think I will do it again. The Quantum is ultra-modern and a very nice ship. Entertainment, food, drinks, and service on the ship were all phenomenal! The ports of call were drop-dead gorgeous and I have never seen such dramatic landscapes in my life

This was my second Alaska Cruise, first one in twenty years and the first one for my wife. Brilliance of the Seas, while an older, smaller ship, was very well maintained and the Alaska itinerary is more destination and not so much about the ship. That being said, we liked being on the smaller ship and the public areas were just fine. Leaving out of Vancouver was a plus since we were able to

My husband and I normally cruise with Celebrity. However, we wanted to take our children (8 and 10) on a cruise and thought RC would be a better fit.The ship itself is beautiful! So well maintained, incredibly clean and just beautiful inside. We loved the indoor pool (it was too chilly for the outside pool). The gym was fantastic too! Bumper cars was super fun. Plus, we enjoyed playing

Quantum is a ship that definitely needs an overhaul. Nordstrom has not been working for months. Our beautiful Junior Suite was very nice but again the carpet needed severe repair. The windjammer needed repair and I found the windows on this ship very dirty. We walked out on dinner 2 times until Bonny the Restaurant manager from American Icon Rest. made our entire trip different. Chops and

Hubby and I are loyal Royal Carribean (Platinum) and cruised Quantum 3 weeks ago (Oct 2023) and it was an awesome 9 days (5 at sea) never a boring moment. Embark in Vancouver was a strain as the Vancouver port staff did not recognize the "Key" priority; but the ship staff did reconcile. Overall, the food was average (not bad) but we are not foodies and not critics. We did tour the windjammer but
